Ed Sheeran announces Tour dates across Asia! Manila, MOA Concert Grounds on Nov. 7

(Manila, 8 June)—AEG Presents and Ovation Productions are excited to announce that celebrated singer songwriter Ed Sheeran is bringing his highly anticipated World Tour toManila on 7 November 2017 at the MOA Concert Grounds. Tickets for the show priced at P13040, 11450, 8290, 4060, 3010, 1950 will be sold starting 10 June 2017 at www.smtickets.com.

The touring news comes straight off the back of a phenomenal few weeks for 26-year-old Ed Sheeran. Kicking-off music in 2017 and delivering the biggest musical comeback in recent years, Ed’s dual singles “Shape Of You” and “Castle On The Hill” have taken the globe by storm, hitting the #1 and #2 spots across the charts worldwide while seeing the Suffolk native break a magnitude of records along the way. On course to cement his third week at #1 & #2 respectively in the UK’s Official Singles Chart tomorrow [Ed made OCC history as the first-ever artist to land the two spots respectively with two brand new tracks], Ed recently conquered more milestones in the USA after landing his first-ever #1 as a performer on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Shape Of You” – with “Castle On The Hill” sitting closely behind at #6 on the chart, Ed also became the first artist to debut in Billboard’s ‘Top 10’ with two songs simultaneously. Not to mention the huge assortment of Spotify records broken by the troubadour this month, making history with their biggest-ever ‘one week’ and ‘one day’ streams for a track, globally with “Shape Of You” (the records were previously held by Drake’s “One Dance” and Adele’s “Hello”, respectively). Moreover, Ed topped the streaming service’s biggest-ever opening 24 hour streams with both singles, surpassing previous title holders, One Direction. Reaching 132 combined #1 iTunes positions around the world and accomplishing Apple Music’s biggest-ever ‘day’ and ‘one week’ streams, the two singles have accumulated over 370 MILLION worldwide streams to date. Launched on Monday, Ed’s official videofor “Castle On The Hill”, which was shot in his native Framlingham, Suffolk, has already reached over 10 million hits!

In addition to Ed’s epic rise with his recorded music, the Suffolk-born artist has also broken records in the live sphere over recent years. In July 2015 Ed took to the stage of Wembley Stadium, solo, becoming the first-ever artist to headline the prestigious venue without a band – with just his trademark loop pedal and guitar – seeing him play to 240,000 people over three consecutive sold-out nights! Securing a very special collaboration with Sir Elton John on the opening night, Ed followed with the release of his live DVD ‘Jumpers for Goalposts’ at the end of 2015, documenting the lead-up and live performances from the Wembley weekend. Moreover, not only has Ed caught the headlines with his phenomenal solo concerts, he’s also been involved in an array of spellbinding collaborative performances over his career to date, further proving his colossal status in the musical world – in 2012, Ed performed at the London Olympics’ closing ceremony alongside members of Pink Floyd and Genesis for a very special version of “Wish You Were Here” and in 2015, Ed shared the stage with Beyonce and Gary Clark Jr. at that year’s Grammy tribute for Stevie Wonder.

Ed Sheeran’s genre-defying third studio album ÷ (divide) was released on 3rd March through Asylum/Atlantic Records (available now).

Amaia opens ‘Eat City’ at Amaia Scapes Pampanga

Amaia Land once more rode on the enormous popularity of food parks by recently launching Eat City at Amaia Scapes Pampanga, a 19-hectare sprawling development on Magalang-Angeles Road in Mexico, Pampanga.

It is Amaia’s first Eat City in Pampanga, dubbed as the country’s culinary capital.

Eat City features a group of food concessionaires that offer a wide variety of Filipino comfort dishes, grilled specialties, and other freshly cooked meals.

Since its opening last May 19, it has been luring entire families and barkadas looking for casual but robust food fare.

At Eat City, foodies make their choices at hawker-style stalls and stands and dine, al fresco, in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.

Bright lights complement lively music, engendering friendly vibes and encouraging people to interact and share a table with other guests—mostly Amaia’s residents and homeowners and walk-ins from neighboring communities.

This wholesome scenario is precisely what Amaia envisioned when it put up Eat City in other Amaiaproperties such as Amaia Scapes General Trias in Cavite and Amaia Novaliches Estate, which comprises Amaia Series Nova, Amaia Steps Novaliches, and Amaia Square Nova.

In fact, Amaia Land executives aver that the opening of its newest branch of Eat City gives potential buyers a glimpse of how life as homeowners in Amaia Scapes Pampanga would be. “It is a life that is enriched by a strong sense of community fostered by goodwill and friendly vibes,”they affirm.

Amaia Scapes Pampanga is a property development that offers well-designed, high-quality residential units and amenities that prospective homeowners will take pleasure in—refreshing patio greens, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse on a tree-lined spine road.

Eat City at Amaia Scapes Pampanga is open Thursdays through Sundays, from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. While there, customers and guests who would like to know more about Amaia Scapes Pampanga may likewise check out Amaia’s model units.

Committed to providing affordable quality homes to Filipino families, Amaia Land offers buyers flexible payment schemes such as cash, deferred cash, and in-house and bank financing.

Construction Show Cebu remains relevant at 25

Marking its milestone at 25, Construction Show Cebu (CEBUCON) is set to take the center stage at the Sky Hall and Mountain Wing Atrium in SM Seaside City Cebu, from June 2 to 5, 2017.

With the theme “25 Years of Building Business Networks in the Construction Industry in the Southern Philippines,” CEBUCON remains relevant by showcasing product solutions, innovations and expertise that meet the current and future demands of the industry in the region.

It was first conceived and organized in 1993 to be aligned with the vision that Cebu will become a major gateway of trade and tourism in the region.

CEBUCON Organizer L.A. Ducut & Company, Inc.’s managing director, Lilibeth D. Abais, said that this milestone event is evident that CEBUCON delivers its commitment to be a vital trade link between suppliers and their market in the region’s construction industry as the popular venue for product displays, launchings, market tests and networking event among industry trade professionals, suppliers and stakeholders.

One of CEBUCON’s pioneer and regular exhibitors, Manila-based industrial and power tools distributor Elektro Werk, Inc. (EWI) President James N. Tan stated that “with the exposures we have at CEBUCON it had contributed to our business growth. CEBUCON, as always, is beyond showcasing. Its organizer, L.A. Ducut & Company, Inc. extends value-added services to both its exhibitor and visitor markets even beyond the event.”
Cebu Belmont, Inc.’s vice president for operations Engr. Felomino D. Ang, shared the same opinion: “[It] truly understands the local market, especially Cebu and Visayas.” This is one of the reasons why their company have been consistently collaborating their exhibit participation at theCEBUCON with their principals and suppliers.

One of its consistent trade visitor, United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) National Auditor Architect Eldred Caesar I. Tan, commented that “the Construction Show Cebu is an innovator and in the forefront of this kind of exhibition in the part of the country. It has showcased materials, tools and equipment and have provided for intellectual stimulation by holding seminars attended by architects, engineers and allied professionals. CEBUCON has benefited not only those directly involved in the construction industry but also the home and building owners in particular and the general public.”

A first timer to CEBUCON is Architechnologies, Inc. to introduce its new software to the local market. “The ProgeCAD Professional 2018 is our next generation of alternative CAD product in the market, set to handle bigger sized files, this is the best version yet. We believe the event is an excellent venue to launch the latest offering of ProgeCAD,” stated technical director Ar. Dennis S. Mayo. “It is our belief that there are still a lot of professional who need the benefit of an affordable CAD package. We believe that CEBUCON also carries that belief of sincerely serving the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry and with this partnership, we are tapping the potentials and networks unreachable to us (at the Architechnologies),” he added. As Construction is a booming industry across the country.

The robust building activities spread out in other parts of the nation given the massive national infrastructure spending by the government. For instance, in Central Visayas, majority of construction activities in the region are located in Cebu, including the P27.9 billion Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), which had its groundbreaking last March; the P50-billion Metro Cebu Expressway that is set to start next year; the P9.2B New Cebu International Container Port; the P98 billion 25-kilometer Cebu rail project; and the P420 million worth Metro Cebu flood control projects, among others.

Bohol and Siquijor also saw rapid infrastructure developments since the first semester of last year. Such strong growth of the construction industry here and elsewhere nationwide is seen to keep its momentum on the back of sustained economic fundamentals. The Philippine construction industry is expected to continuously grow in the next three years, bolstered by the residential and infrastructure markets.

From $30.2 billion in 2015, Timetric’s Construction Intelligence Center (CIC) projects the sector to reach $47 billion in 2020 at a compound annual growth rate of 9.22 percent. As reported by BMI Research’s Philippine Infrastructure Report last January, construction industry is predicted to grow from P1.09 trillion this year to P1.73 trillion in 2021. The sector’s contribution to the country’s gross domestic product is, likewise, projected to expand from 6.8 percent in 2017 to 7.3 percent in four years.

These prospects open new opportunities for L.A. Ducut & Company, Inc. to make CEBUCON more responsive to the needs of the local construction industry. The exhibit’s major cooperating agency is theHardwares Consolidated, Inc.
