Renee Olstead in Dinner Concert “Summertime”

Watch out for international recording artist Renee Olstead in “Summertime,” an exclusive dinner concert performance at the Isla Grand Ballroom, Edsa Shangri-La, Manila on March 29, Saturday.
Fall in love with Renee’s special rendition of timeless compositions “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Breaking Up is Hard to Do” and “Summertime” among other chart-topping hits.
Olstead had released a self-titled album of jazz songs and pop standards for Warner Bros Records. Her musical talent was discovered by composer David Foster who produced her album during 2004. A follow-up album entitled Skylark also produced by Foster.
In 2012 Olstead joined PETA’s campaign to free Maali from captivity at the Manila zoo where she has been alone for the last 3 decades. Mali is in need of proper medical care, more space and the companionship of other elephants. “I only watched Mali for a few minutes, and the entire time I was there, she stood in one place with her trunk to the ground. As I was leaving the zoo, I looked back and saw her there. I realized that her life is probably never much different from that. Every minute of every day, Mali is deprived of everything that is natural and important to her. It makes my heart break.”
